Can I use these to bind? (I'm ftm)

Hi! We can only recommend the product be used for the original use of helping to provide pain relief and support to muscles, tendons, or ligaments. While taping, it is not recommended to apply the tape with a high level of stretch as it can be harsh on the skin if overstretched and worn for days at a time. I hope this helps!

Which is the best tape for hamstring pull and wrist soreness

Hi Jane! Actually, all of our rolls of tape can be applied anywhere on the body to target pain in muscles, tendons, or ligaments. The main difference when choosing a roll of tape is knowing how long you would like to wear the tape for, and will you be wearing it while you are working out? If you would like to wear your tape and feel the support for more than 2 days AND/OR will be wearing it while you are working out, we suggest using a roll from our PRO line: either KT Tape PRO or KT Tape PRO Extreme, which can last up to 7 days on your skin and can withstand moisture really well once it has fully adhered to your skin! Extreme is great if you will be using it through extreme conditions or high humidity, etc. If you only want to wear it casually for a day or two, you can totally rely on KT Tape Original Cotton! The colors of each roll are simply for color preference, and do not have significance past that. Do this product have the y cut? I need to use it for my inner elbow and I saw the guy on youtube had it with the y cut.

The product you saw in the video is our first generation KT Tape that was discontinued years ago because we found that splitting the tape may decrease the amount of support provided. Our current suggested applications use 2 full strips that can be found in any of our rolls of pre-cut tape. Can this tape be used for chest binding/flattening in AFAB people?

Hello, I bought this tape to try to see if it would help alleviate my knee pain and give me knee support while hiking. I applied the tape as directed and could definitely feel the support. However, within an hour into my hike, the tape started to peal off and would not stick to my skin. This happened on both of my knees. I was hiking a high peak in the Adirondacks and it was an 18 mile, 12.5 hour hike. I was very disappointed that this did not stick especially because by the end of the day I had excruciating pain. I didn't bring a backup brace because I read such good reviews on your product. Do you have any tips/tricks for applying this tape to ensure it sticks? I would like to give KT Tape another shot before researching a new brand. I did not have lotion or oils on my skin when I applied it. Does sweat effect the adhesive? That's really the only factor I could think of that would make this product not work. Please let me know your thought and/or suggestions. Thank you! Shannon

First off, I want to point out that the product you are using is made of 100% cotton and therefore is designed to only stand up to minor activity and moisture. For strenuous hikes we do suggest using product from our PRO series, which is made of engineered synthetic performance fabric that is more durable! They are both made of the same durable fabric, and the Extreme product has a more aggressive adhesive for extreme activity. In addition, here are some general tips you can apply to improve adhesion to your skin: 1. Prep the skin by cleaning with rubbing alcohol and let dry completely prior to application, removing any lotions, or skin oils that may be within the pores. 2. Apply tape well before any anticipated moisture or activity. The adhesive on the tape needs at least one hour to adhere fully to skin before it can withstand moisture or any activity. 3. Be sure not to over-stretch the strips. Only a light to moderate stretch is necessary to be effective and try your best to place first and last two inches of each strip with no tension at all, creating strong anchors to your skin.
