KT Tape Launches New Outdoor Product Line at Teva Mountain Games
JUNE 01, 2010
Building on its success in running and team sports, KT Tape is launching a new outdoor sports product line that will make its exhibition debut at the Teva Mountain Games Gear Town. KT Tape is the first-ever consumer brand of kinesiology therapeutic tape. For years, elite athletes have used kinesiology therapeutic tape for injury treatment, pain relief and performance, and now all athletes in the outdoor arena can have access to that same level of support. With products, packaging, and new content designed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts, KT Tape is now also found at REI locations and other specialty outdoor retailers. The KT Tape Team along with local clinicians will be at the KT Tape booth offering free taping demonstrations specific to outdoor sports like trail running, climbing, paddling and mountain biking. Competitors and spectators can learn how to tape up their shoulders, backs, hamstrings, calves, and any of the muscles or joints affected by being active in the outdoors. Members of the KT Tape Team will also be available for media interviews via appointment at the Expo. The Teva Mountain Games Gear Town will be held Friday, June 4th beginning at 11 am, Saturday June 5th beginning at 9 am and Sunday June 6th beginning at 9 am at the Vail Whitewater Park on Meadow Drive. Because KT Tape can be worn for up to five days per application, Teva Mountain Game competitors who stop by the KT Tape Booth can get taped up for race day at Gear Town! KT Tape is used by athletes to treat common sports injuries such as runners knee, shin splints, IT Band pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and quad or hamstring strain. It is the only solution that will provide pain relief and support before, during, and after the competitionwithout restricting motion. At Gear Town, the KT Tape team will be available to answer questions, demo product taping methods, and introduce the outdoor sports community to this revolution in pain relief and performance enhancement.
