Molly Seidel
Molly Seidel is an American professional runner who competes in long distance events, including the marathon. She rose to prominence in 2020 when she placed 2nd at the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, securing her spot on the U.S. Olympic team for the 2020 Summer Olympics. She won Bronze in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games, the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in marathon since 2004. Seidel has also had success at the collegiate level, winning the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in 2015 and placing second in 2016. She has set personal bests in the marathon, half marathon, and 10,000 meters, and has competed in numerous other track and field events.
