USA Women's Water Polo Takes Gold

Congratulations to the USA Women’s Senior National Team, and KT Tape team athletes, for taking home the gold over Australia this weekend at  the FINA World League Super Final.  After regulation play the score was tied 7-7 and the championship came down to a shoot out.  These gals are nothing short of amazing and were able to claim victory with a final score of 12-11. Team member, Maggie Steffens, shot the winning penalty shot and Betsey Armstrong delivered a key stop to the Aussies just prior to Steffens taking the winning shot. This is the fifth gold the USA Women have taken at the FINA World League Super Final through out the history of the seven-year-old event.  Way to go Ladies!
