KT Tape Attends Arnold Sports Festival
MARCH 10, 2010
The Arnold Sports Festival recently took place in Columbus, Ohio from March 4th through the 7th. This event attracts approximately 170,000 people, making it the largest multi-sport festival in the nation.
At the heart of this festival is the Arnold Fitness Expo, in the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This is the largest health and fitness exposition in the country with more than 700 booths showcasing the latest in sports equipment, nutrition and apparel.
The KT Tape crew attended this event, making kinesiology therapeutic tape accessible to athletes competing in various sports such as archery, boxing, dancesport, gymnastics, weight lifting, and wrestling.
With more than 17,000 athletes involved in 40 different sports, the Arnold Fitness Expo was the perfect showcase for KT Tape versatility in pain management for all athletes. Mike Bridges, Powerlifting Hall of Famer and Arnold Sport Festival attendee, has stated that, "KT Tape helps me prepare and compete at levels that I never thought were possible." KT Tape use has become relevant in any discussion regarding pain management in the world of the athlete.
The KT Tape booth was packed, and it was great to see how excited everyone was to get taped up! We especially had fun hearing from the MMA athletes, like Brett Rogers pictured above, who thanked us for giving them a drug-free option for pain relief so they don't have to rely on medications before, during and after fights.
