This summer Wend Magazine editor-at-large Rick Olsen and journalist Cali Bagby have embarked on an amazing journey through the west. They are attempting to bike the 5,000 mile route of highways connecting thirteen National Parks west of the Rockies also known as the “Playground Trail”.

A great interview with Mike Sheehy! He tells us what motivates and keeps him running for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. One thing he swears by as he runs great distances for a great cause is KT Tape.

Meet Joe McCaleb. If you happened to stop by the KT Tape booth at the Teva Mountain Games in Vail this last weekend, you’d probably recognize his taping handiwork that covered hundreds of athletes at the outdoor sports competition. Joe was kind enough too share his experience with KT Tape with us.

Mike Sheehy did it! He successfully broke the Guinness World Record for most miles ran in seven days. He finished his quest at the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon. He used KT Tape every day to ease the pain in his Achilles Tendon.

KT Tape will be at the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon this weekend. Not only will be supporting Mike Sheehy in his World Record attempt of most miles run in seven days, we will also be offering free taping demonstrations and advice to all the marathon runners. Stop by the booth!

Mike Sheehy, a KT Tape advocate and ultra-marathon runner, is back again. He is set to set a Guinness World Record for running the most miles in seven consecutive days. He is planning on finishing his quest at the San Diego Rock n’ Roll Marathon and KT Tape will be there cheering him on!

Now that the sun is consistently warming the peaks, I would say it’s time to begin moving from the hike planning phase to the get out and go phase. The snow continues to melt and the buds are breaking through. Get out into the backcountry early this year and understand this: The better your gear, the more comfortable your experience will be.

Ladies and Gentleman, Start your Engines! In preparation for the Indianapolis 500 race, the 34th annual 500 Festival and Mini-Marathon will take place this weekend, and KT Tape will be there too!
